Florists in the United States range from neighborhood flower shops with a walk-in cooler to studio designers who work only by appointment for weddings and events. Most retail florists build arrangements to order, deliver the same day when you call before early afternoon, and belong to a wire network (FTD, Teleflora or BloomNet) that passes out-of-town orders to a local shop. Ordering from the shop directly rather than through a national website usually means more flowers for the money, because no order-gatherer takes a cut. Flower markets and wholesalers sell loose stems and bunches, often early in the morning, and many now open to the public. Flower farms grow seasonal blooms such as dahlias, peonies and sunflowers and sell by the bucket, by subscription or as pick-your-own.

No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. The listed phone number is (770) 475-2341. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is alpharettaflowermarket.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.8 out of 5 on Google across 50 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded florists in Alpharetta.

It is so hard to order something online and know what is actually going to be delivered. I have used the Alpharetta Flower Market twice now and have been so pleased. Beautiful and fresh arrangements delivered promptly. I ordered something that was shown as three small Christmas type arrangements. I requested them to be me made with fall colors and hoped for the best. My sister sent me a photo and they are absolutely gorgeous!

I have had flowers delivered in Alpharetta to my mom from Alpharetta Flower Market for many years, at least twice a year for her birthday and Mothers day and it is gorgeous every time. She says everyone in her office gets crazy jealous when her flowers come through the door! She sends me a picture every time and they are always full of the most beautiful flowers. I always look forward to chatting with the girls who run the shop. I know that they have always made a special effort to bring something great to my mom, so I am making the effort to post a review for them.
